Hello,

I have set up and loaded OmniFind upon the server after testing.  All the computers I have run tests upon have opened pdf documents with Adobe Reader 7 or Adobe Acrobat Pro 7, with no trouble. 

When I run the search on a computer with Adobe Reader 8 it prompts users to save the documents before you canopen it. 

Is their anyway around this for users running Adobe Reader 8??

We have 8.1.2 and have never seen this behavior.  Did you roll out acrobat 8 with a custom msi or something?

No custom MSI. 

Managed to work it out.  You need to change a preference in Adobe 8.  Edit/Preferences/Internet/Web Browser Options/Uncheck display PDF in browser.

By unchecking the above this rectifies the save prompt.
